How do I enrol ?
FOR POWYS COUNTY COUNCIL COURSES:
ONLINE:
If you are a first time visitor to this website, you can click
the First Time User? link
and register with us. Registration is a quick process and, once completed, you will immediately be able to book classes. When you log in later you will be able to check and manage the courses you’ve booked
If you have already registered with us then you can login using the login
box. on the homepage. You will then be able to book courses online by searching for
a course and selecting it. You will see immediately whether there are
places on the course, the price, the tutor and it is also possible to
join a waiting list for a course should the course you are interested
in be over-subscribed. Further instructions are given during the process.
To make it easier for you, you can now pay online so please have your debit or credit card handy when you log in.

No news is good news, if you do not hear from us your class will start on the advertised date

Tuition fees:
Concessionary rates are available as follows:
Concessionary fees apply to the tuition fees only -
NO CONCESSIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON EXAM and / or MATERIAL FEES.
Concessionary fees are not available for workshops.
Concessionary fees A
■ Over 60 as at 31.08.06
■ Under 19 as at 31.08.06
■ In receipt of an Invalidity, Incapacity or Disability Benefit.
Concessionary fees B
If you are in receipt of one of the benefits listed below you will be
charged:
Non-Vocational Courses - £1 per hour (+ Material costs)
Vocational Courses - Only applies to those who do not receive an ILA Wales
(see below). £10.00 + Examination Entry / Registration Fee and / or Material
Costs
■ Job Seekers Allowance
■ Income Support
■ Housing Benefit
■ Council Tax
■ Working Families Tax Credit (does not apply to non-vocational courses)
Concessionary fees are also available to the unwaged dependants of those
in
receipt of the above benefits. Documentary evidence is required.
Individual Learning Accounts Wales
For courses leading to a qualification, you may be eligible if you live
in Wales, for a contribution of up to £200 towards the cost of your learning.

Refunds
All courses are dependent on sufficient numbers enrolling. A refund will
be made only if a class is cancelled, NOT if a student withdraws.
